Shane Hood is a multidisciplinary designer and Design Director at Align Design, where he helps shape the studio’s creative direction across architecture, interiors, graphics, materials, and storytelling. His work is rooted in a belief that thoughtful design can deepen people’s connection to place, reveal layers of history, and create a stronger sense of belonging. Beyond the studio, Hood is deeply engaged in Tulsa’s architectural and civic life through his work with the Tulsa Metropolitan Area Planning Commission, Tulsa Preservation Commission, Tulsa Foundation for Architecture, and local preservation initiatives. He is also a frequent lecturer, panelist, podcast guest and university guest juror, and was named a 2024–2025 Public Fellow of the University of Tulsa’s Oklahoma Center for the Humanities.

He holds a Bachelor of Architecture with a Minor in Global Studies from Drury University.
